The clients had investigated various types of terrazzo looking floors as they wanted a new design for a Super Spar that was being established in the Marine Walk Shopping Centre. The designer and client had exceptional vision and weren’t prepared to compromise. The client selected a range from Iris Ceramiche Italy; known as Venice Villa which is a full bodied porcelain B1a, it comes in a range of colours and sizes as well as 3 different finished .
A combination of polished tiles as well as a natural R10 tile were installed , the correct matting regime along with a recommended cleaning regime from Industro-clean was recommended from onset to ensure the life expectancy of the products .
The product is unique in that it is polished in traditional way using carborundum stones; the surface is incredible hard and is thus suited to high traffic commercial areas .
